Alcoholic Neuropathy?

There are many diseases and conditions which are associated with alcoholism, including alcoholic neuropathy. Neuropathy develops over a period of time and results in damage to the nervous system. If this condition is serious enough, it may not be reversible. Symptoms include numbness, muscle weakness, tingling, skin sensitivity, and pain. The pain has been described as being stuck with a million pins. It can affect the legs, arms, and can become worse over time. Treatment options include treating the alcoholism.
